Inspired by the swirling force of a vortex, energy pulled inward, then released upward, this side table channels that same primal movement into wood and form.
Its silhouette twists as if caught mid-motion, a spiral drawn tight at the base and opening gently toward the top, capturing the tension between stillness and momentum that gives the Vortex collection its name.
Sculpted from amaranth, a dense and durable hardwood native to the tropical forests of Central and South America, this table reveals the wood’s striking violet heartwood, prized for centuries in inlays and sculptural work, and rarely seen at this scale.
Compact yet charged with presence, it carries the energy of the entire collection into an intimate form.
