I seek to represent the essence of nature and the human being in my works, with a minimum material presence. I give a dream of something different, something extra-ordinary, something genuine.
I was born in Granada, Spain. I received a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona in 2005 and a BA in Interior Design from Eina School in 2004. Since 2007, I have exhibited my pieces at some of the best art-design galleries, such as Rossana Orlandi (Milan), Les Ateliers Courbet (NY), Mint (London), and The Wolfsonian Museum (Miami). My pieces SOUL Sculpture bench in 2011 and the Autumn Leaf swing in 2012 have won an international award.
I have created for brands, such as Porcelanosa, Cosentino, Tribú, LAB23, Groël, and more. I work with energy. I am in continuous search of balance and harmony, the naturalness of the forms, and the simplicity. A powerful body of work that contributes beyond what is visible. Each piece has and emanates its own soul.
Since 2014, I have shown my sculptures at art fairs and galleries in London, Shanghai, Barcelona, Madrid, Miami and NY. I have created pieces for private and public collectors.
I feel that my art, sculptural pieces, and jewelry fuel one another. You can see in all work my passion for nature, which creates total perfection and function.
I am based in Madrid, working for clients and collectors all over the world.
MANIFESTO
I feel myself a complete artist, a creator of beauty in terms of “spiritual beauty” connecting my creation with the essence of all that exists, with “The fountain”.
My research aims to balance volume, shape, and space to emphasize emptiness over mass, inspired by Brancusi’s exploration of the essence of life.
I create a calligraphic effect with texture, color, and light reflections through organic lines and forms. I combine classical and avant-garde materials like steel, brass, aluminum, and acrylic stone, to create intimate inside and outside spaces.
My sculptures spiral upwards, suggesting physical and mental growth and purity through minimal presence. They invite viewers to engage in an introspective dialogue, connecting them to freedom, emancipation, and self-fulfillment. My artwork draws a dialog of eternal and ephemeral, empty and full, light and darkness, with the target on the unity of the duality.
Reality is not just what you can touch. Through the spiritual world, my work is created with great force, providing balance, harmony, and inner power. The spaces change their energy by placing the pieces strategically. Also helping me with minerals, numerology, and sacred geometry, hidden in the work, the balance and harmonization of each space, are generated.
All my pieces are a “point of light”, they are created with conscious energy to harmonize and balance the space where they are placed.
