Akari means light. Not the light that dazzles, but the light that gathers softly, that enters a space and makes it whole.
From that quiet radiance this sculpture is born: a single white line that rises from the earth, arcs toward the sky and returns to rest, as if light itself had paused for a moment to take form.
Its curve follows the proportions of sacred geometry, the hidden measure that orders the growth of leaves and the passage of the sun.
It is at once threshold and refuge.
Portal Akari invites a pause.
Sit within its embrace and let the light pass through you, as it passes through the open arch. Here the space is harmonized, the breath slows, and time becomes luminous.
